OUR PROJECTS IN PRACTICE
Every project we work on is designed to work as a living system. Each project weaves different forms of Life-Centred knowhow (thinking, being and connecting). In each project we unabashedly make time to enjoy the world around us. We always place emphasis on questions that give life. And we are active and activist.
CASE STUDIES
The Patagonia Earth University is one of Patagonia Europe’s flagship internal employee programmes. We are super proud to have worked with them over seven years, designing and facilitating a system to help them navigate the world. Now in its third cycle, the plan is to continue working together to support the company’s mission - To Save Our Home Planet.

THE BIO-LEADERSHIP FELLOWSHIP
The Bio-Leadership Fellowship, now evolving as a self-organising, global community and an international cooperative of businesses, has been an extraordinary 7 year journey, supporting a global ‘mycelium’ of nature-centred leaders and helping countless connections, partnerships and collaborations happen, for the good of nature.
MAKEMAKE’S CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION
MakeMake are one of Hollywood’s leading film production groups, working to support new stories to support a more conscious and life-supporting world. In this project, we worked closely with the founder and leadership team to host conversations to help the company adapt as a connected system whilst opening potential to support more consciousness, connection and life-aligned stories for the Earth.
THE EARTH FUNDING LAB
The Earth Funding Lab was a collaboration with the Environmental Funders Network and TealCo, helping funders work more systemically and collaboratively to support economies in service to life. Working together with pioneering funders in the UK, we helped to deepen systemic perspectives, inspired more collaborative strategies, and helped to develop pooled funding in three key areas of innovation: Rights of Nature; Going Beyond ESG ; and exploring Regenerative Approaches to Tax.
IN DEVELOPMENT
As we all look to navigate unknown terrains, at LIFE SYSTEM STUDIO we actively explore and develop ideas to support a Life-Centred world. These are some of the things we are working on and exploring in early stages right now.
COMMON NATURE - SUPPORTING NATURAL HEALTH FOR ALL
Common Nature is an exciting project that Andres is working with as a partner and strategic advisor. The belief is that every person has the right to be healthier with local nature. The purpose is to promote and make natural health more accessible across the UK. We are supporting Simon Lamb, the founder, in working towards vision of connecting one hundred hubs for natural wellbeing, working with one thousand organisations, and ultimately inspiring one million healthier lives.
A NATIONAL READINESS PROJECT
We firmly believe that we are now in a moment of erosion and breakdown, with difficult challenges ahead. But we also believe in the power of collective action, and the need to work as a dynamic ecosytem to adapt to the ups and downs to come. This is why we are in conversations with friends and allies about a possible ‘Readiness’ project - a way of connecting people across diverse sectors to plan ahead, with the wisdom of life-sustaining principles, and be ready for turbulence to come.
A LIFE ECONOMY IMPACT LAB, MIDDLE EAST
Working in collaboration with TheOtherDada, we are in the early stages of developing a Life Economy Lab within the Arabian Peninsula Bio-Region. The Lab would connect and support a network of organisations working to help a Life Economy thrive in the region.
ECOLOGIES OF PEACE
A personal direction for Lab founder, Andres Roberts, there is a long term intention to explore how to support the conditions for human systems to sustain life and peace when our ecological and social pressures will come under increasing pressure.
